I only have one splash silkie. I hatched it from a show breeder in Florida before I decided to do paints. It was from all those expensive eggs that were a bust. Only got 3/32 eggs to hatch. This egg was by far the biggest and the chick was huge. I assumed it would be a boy but now I'm not so sure. It's only 10 weeks old but a fast grower. Any guesses on gender?

I say female. Very pretty either way

I'm behind now and didn't catch up, just delivered the chicks. At camp now checking the others.
Juice is bibbed. Tiggy has a little white, but not much. I thought the Swedish were bibbed regardless, so I thought she was still considered black, but I could easily be wrong. Should have just asked you to begin with lol. I mean that seriously. I don't know enough about my own ducks!

You're probably right that Swedish are all bibbed, I honestly don't know, but being bibbed is different than black... and blue bibbed as well... yep, I gotta look at pics... bill and feet color also help determine which color patterns too...
