yea that's true Ravyns chickens are high on grass all the time . they Colorado chickens .

The back half of my property slopes toward my pens; a wonder the pens are still there after some of the gully washers we get...lane looks like the Colorado sometimes

dont get one, you will get used to it and then get po at the cell! 

she is a looker for sure ravyn your doing good with um for sure thats a breed I never got into because a friend of mine was into them and then after a few years she bought my ancona and fell in love with ducks and now she raises ducks and I think bantam cochin and some rare breed tiny rabbits, really cool lookin things too   I dont have the heart to get rabbits, I cant kill them, I hunted with dad and never lifted the over and under when the weimer shot one out at me,  "nope nothin came out this way dad"   what does he expect when you give a kid pet rabbits, take her hunting .... yea ok dad....  DOH    thats the only think I would shoot.  and I cant see putting one in a pen if I ant gonna do nothing with it,.

Seriously, thank you for the compliments... they're not where I want them yet, but I'm pleased with the progress... she's gonna be a big part of my Spring breeding program...

I posted on the other thread the other day, but don't have pics yet... will try to get some candling pics either tonight or soon... 8/12 shipped, and all 3 of Lady Grey's are developing... the new groups drakes forgot to pack their little blue pills though, so all of those were infertile...

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Sally; I raised New Zealand Whites for the table for a while, then had a hard time butchering them & gave it up.

other extreme my place is almost flat a two inch rain makes it so wet I can't leave the driveway without leaving ruts . makes it hard to work in wet weather.
