Got it! I thought he was referring to Perchy's book for some reason.

I just had this talk with my son who just bought a new couch and his wife wont let his dog on it.... I said grow some.... end of conversation.....

You know how I think of my springers.....I am very thankful for them, I am slave to my dogs as in, I do not put them outside to live their days, for they are short enough, they live inside with us, because the cost of my couch, cost of my comforters, my extra cleaning efforts mean nothing, compared to the affection and comfort I get from them.  I wouldnt put my kids outside either, although I thought about it many times

I know you love your dogs, they are beautiful!

I love my dogs too, but they are not allowed on the furniture or the beds. They have big cushy dog beds they can sleep on. I like that when people come over and sit on the couch, they don't get covered in dog hair. They are in the house a lot of the time, but they can spend the day outside if we're gone with no problem.

Just because I don't let them on my furniture doesn't mean I love them any less or that they have a bad life!
