Just read that a State Farm report states that because of the rut, you stand a 1 in 44 chance of hitting a deer with your car this year if you live in WV...National Deer Alliance

Yep! I see at least 2 or 3 new dead ones almost every day. (and I drive less than 10 miles to work!)

1750 car-deer crashes in my county last year...the highest number in Michigan. There used to be about one a week within a hundred yards of our house (we are at the top of a small hill, so deer crossing on either side are not visible to drivers coming from the other direction until the hill is crested).

Maybe the state or county should move the Deer Crossing signs
