I ran the GQF and Ova-Easy over the weekend to fine tune temperatures and check humidity profiles.

The GQF has the water reservoir with float, so I'm not too concerned with water consumption here. But the Ova-Easy has only the built in water tray, and it uses water like there is no tomorrow.

The design is plastic over foam, with limited ventilation, so I did not expect that the Ova-Easy would consume so much water. Even with humidity pad and 8 sponges in the water tray, it only reached 61% humidity.

My Accurite thermometer that I used in my incubators last year is now 2.5F off from my Spot Check after 6 hours of stabilization. This just goes to show the importance of calibrating thermometers on a regular basis.
