well they are nice "looking" ducks.........lol

shovelers are one of my favorite ducks to look at, late season plumage, but are some of the least favorable for the table. give me green heads, or teal for the table every time!!

The shovelers actually tasted pretty good. This gadwall was not very good, but I enjoyed the shovelers. Although I agree, I'd take green heads over shovelers.
