I got a kitchenaide stand up mixer.
It's a mine and my wife present.....I got her a electric pressure cooker/canner (yeah were into food).

That's awesome! I love mine!

Just to jump on the downer bandwagon, my FIL died on thanksgiving six years ago. Yesterday we found out MIL has cancer...
We will find out how bad today. Rough time of year for Mrs. Flock

So the kids got a million gifts! Everything they wanted and more. Except my middle child has to say "but why didn't I get...". I missed one thing he wanted because they didn't do free shipping and I figured he had more than enough. But he remembered and reminded me. Spoiled kids! I got the Brinsea Eco 20 with turner and got rid of 2 Roosters! Also, I re-did my ad for CL and had 6 phone calls yesterday. No joke. Talked to some very nice "chicken" people and made good connects and added a couple people to a list I have going for spring. So it's been good. Hope everyone has a great day! And remember, we've all got scars, so no one is alone in their pain. to all (except SC).

My mom doesn't do Thanksgiving anymore....probably about five years ago (can't remember exact year) she buried my aunt the day before thanksgiving. The next year she buried my uncle the day after. So we celebrate her birthday (Dec4th) instead.So Flock I'll keep you and the Mrs in my thoughts today and hope all of you I've talked with lately have a blessed holiday....Phil

It's all about the quality of life, Phil. I enjoy talking to you, and I'm glad you found friends to vent to. My papa was the greatest man I ever knew. One upside to the cancer was that we made the last 2 years count. He knew how I felt about him, and I knew how he felt about me. He was a 'Bama fan, and we watched them win the championship 4 months before he died. They might make it again this year.
