She ordered her first chickens from a breeder that was supposed to send 2 pullets. One was a cockerel, and both had lice. Then she turned around and ordered AMs from the same breeder

Just got the roof done as we were running out of daylight. Then went to get more supplies. So maybe tomorrow will be warm enough to do more.

It's amazing the difference in birds from a good breeder. Those aren't even close. I've never seen chicks laced that well

You can even tell from day 1. The foley chicks are grey instead of black. Very interesting.

They are lovely! I'm so happy you are having good results!

And thanks on my new project. Raining today, but really hoping to finish tomorrow before the cold weather comes back. We have been lucky so far.

DH put in an application yesterday and just got called for an interview! Know what that means? If he has to work, then we will stay home for a while and I can hatch some chickens!!!
