heat lamp works great less chance of fire that is a steep pitch on that little roof .

Thanks, that's a good idea. It's a 1:1 pitch, so really steep. It is easy to cut the boards for, but I'll probably make the next one a bit less steep.

hydrogen peroxide will take care of the blood and smell also . use the dollar store brand its cheap and baking soda will also help.

I do not have hydrogen peroxide, and thing 2 came down with the stomach flu, so no store trips. But I do have a huge box of baking soda so I will give that a try tomorrow. Thanks

I really do like him RB! I'm not big on white birds, but he's an exception.

Thanks! Neither's my sister (Easy hawk or eagle bait and we have a lot of those in this area) but she really likes him, especially when she walks out the front door and he start crowing. Won't do it when anyone else walks out the door, just her.

What breed are they?

Just run of the mill feeder pigs. My sister thinks the white ones have Yorkshire in them and my dad thinks the brown ones have Spotted poland china.
