well she was so pretty when we married and were young . but hard headed as a mare mule . used to hit me in the chest thought it was funny . after a while it wasn't funny . the fact that we both have to be in charge doesn't make it easy sometimes . but we manage not to kill each other . guess that's good .

I am positive you do, (so does my husband (we won't get him started about the corner with the s**t plant and the bridge :/)) But I am also certain she has her share about you.
I had these cute little juice glasses, hubby liked to give them to the girls with water in (we do have lots of tippy cups) surprise, surprise they would break them....may as well just give the girls knives.

Only a few more weeks before my first hatch for my flock and I am trying to line up the first incubator load.

I have a swap of I don't know what

coming from Ravyn, but I don't have any other swaps lined up.

Goal #1: get rid of my red sex link stock this fall and have a mix of EEs and assorted large fowl that will hold up to Michigan winters (smaller combs, well feathered, husky birds).
Goal #2: raise the quality of the flock from backyard mix/hatchery stock and commercial layers
Goal #3: raise some pet-worthy chickens that lay some pretty eggs

If anyone is interested in swapping for mixed turkey eggs, fancy EE eggs, or a mix please let me know. If not a swap, I would be interested in buying for a comparable value. I want to set my first full tray of 96 on March 5 so I would like to have eggs on the way around March 1.

I should have some mixed duel purpose hens covered by my dark cornish roosters by then, if you're interested still.

I despise the commercial Cornish Cross, one out of every dozen is a good quality bird that could survive to maturity, and they lack in taste because of the fast growth rate.
