Then wait til he comes back (and cools off), just make sure he knows before hatching eggs or chicks are sold off from them...

I'd heard that they need to be couple weeks old or so before switching them to the horizontals as they are harder to activate... usually heard to use verticals first... :hu

That'll be sometime in march (I think) Well since the only roo we have at the moment (Not including the EE cockerels and the BCM mix and BR) is a Delaware we won't have anything pure anyway.

Just wait till he gets back. If you are not selling anything pure anyway it isn't something that needs to happen quickly.

Maybe I'll just switch it out and try again in a few weeks. Going in and "helping" them every couple of hours gets a little old.

LOL, wouldn't know enough to answer that. :gig   I think the Lobos' basketball team is pretty popular though.

We used to go to minor league baseball games in So Cal; might check out the local team this year, just for fun. (Beer and hot dogs at a ball park is always good, no matter if the team is or isn't.)

They have a solid basketball team, and New Mexico State isn't bad either.

There is just something about summer baseball games!
