Unfortunately no....kids weren't patient enough...but that's okay was great outside....supposed to get cold and snow now...the temperature dropped like 20 some degrees in a hurry

Had a fun day, had our first hands on experience with bees.
Then when we got home I went out to collect eggs and for the 2nd day in a row I had to turf out the weird rumpless cockerel out of the nest. He was sitting on 4 eggs. He really is a weirdo. Then I went to visit the meaties. They have quadrupled in size since we got them.
Then I did my rounds checking the coops to make sure there are no weak points and I spotted some animal foot prints. So I went to find Jay and he says they are raccoon prints a mother and babies, and we found some wild hog prints too. So we are going to have to do some night patrols. Hope every one is having an absolutely marvelous weekend.
We had bees growing up...I love honey think I would love to have bees again.
Ummm... btw... that WAS 50 of them...
