I shouldn't've moved her, just 'cause I can't close up that leak until it stops raining (it's in a corner, so I can't just slap a board over it--though I did close up the gap significantly. Gotta love corner braces!) She's not laying again, though, so that's a hopeful thing. Probably'll have to bow out of the HAL, though.

Well... dang...

What if some eggs just happen to fill up a box and then said box just happens to show up at your door???

Well....brrrrrrr. its below zero again
.....but looks like after Friday we got a warm up coming temps up to the mid 50's.....looking forward to that.....
Looking forward to daylight savings time too....then it'll be light till after 8.....

But I promised... And I can do more eggs if I can put some under Frieda as well as in the incubator;) But if our wires got crossed and a box showed up without Frieda being broody, I suppose it wouldn't be my fault, would it?

Well, I *thought* that PM said she WAS broody... :lau

Stay warm, Phil...

Oh, crap... ducks don't recognize daylight savings... :barnie

If it's a frizzle MIX with one frizzle parent, does it have frizzle feathers itself?

If it has no frizzle gene, it will look normal.

If it has one frizzle gene (inherited from one parent that carries frizzle gene), it will look frizzled.

If it has two frizzle genes, inherited from both parents that are frizzled, it will have brittle feathers.

So...

If it is a frizzle mix with frizzle feathers, Ff, and is mated to a non-frizzle bird ff, you can expect

Ff
Ff
ff
ff

or half non frizzle and half frizzle.

It is a frizzle mix. Thanks for your help.

Good morning frogs.
