LOL. She's half cuckoo. Loved to sit on eggs, got ticked when they tried to hatch.

Great news! Are your Lav orps lazy layers? I am lucky if I get two eggs a week.

Hubby had a much better night last night, and I got a bit of sleep myself.  Glad the weekend is almost here!!  I need another cup of coffee though.

Great news! Are your Lav orps lazy layers? I am lucky if I get two eggs a week.

It was in the middle of my comment... but I saw it. My LOs have been very slow starting. I think I may have 2-4 (out of 7!) that are laying. Or they rotate days. I only get to check them about every other day, and have only gotten 5 eggs maximum for 2 days.. I'm very disappointed in them, and if they don't pick up soon, they will be giving up their space!

I've heard Orps aren't that great of layers from several people. No personal experience though.
