Thats OK, I've seen enough traumas to last me a lifetime. Worst one was a young guy whose leg got stuck in a hay baler. Lost a big chunk of his calf and they were trying to save his foot.

Yes there are tons of stories of men and children horribly injured by farm machinery. It only takes one careless moment.

Oh i agree they do. But i think usually the bigger problem is things become routine. You repeatedly do something you stop thinking about the dangers and get careless. I cannot tell you how many times DH has wrecked his 4 wheeler, one of these times he is going to break his neck, but it is usually a calf breaks away from the group and he chases it wothout thinking about where he is at.

Farming is a very dangerous job.....

To...my son was telling me about some guy who came into the ER after he had a mishap with a home made cannon....he apparently shoot his azz off....not a pretty sight.....
