EE chicks at school started hatching today. 13 in the brooder 6 in the bator so far. I had to put one little guy down. I think he was mishandled by a staff member who was graciously helping out but didn't know what to do. Looks like his yolk sack was pulled away and his little internals were outside covered in bedding.

Thanks! The first were not sure of, couldve been a pure bred egg mixup or a rooster mishap not sure yet but im so excited three have cute lil crests

The other is a Svart Hona so glad a breeder gave me this oppurtunity, it is such an exciting breed to work with!

Deffinitly! The more you do the more at peace you will feel if she cant turn around, and your doing an amazing job! Spice may very well be whats in her blood! Also, thats the route this lady followed, he will eat and drink, his wounds are mostly healed, but he cant stay on his feet, its def nerve damage in This case. :/ its really sad, and to top it off hes a bresse roo, it was her Bresse flock attacked, she now has only a single hen left

Oh, that sucks! Hen laying eggs?? Pop those suckers in a bator for the next month!

Unfortunatly "Lil Pearl" wasnt layn until after the attack, and theyre still pullet eggs she bought some of the Isbar chicks i hatched, and shes tryn to lay back on the bresse for a couple months now. On the other hand; she has some Foley BLRW and theyre Georgous!! Absolutly stunning birds, were in close contact, shes only ten minutes away
