Ya'll ready for this???

It's been 13 days since the haybale incident... am still tubing fluids but I think that's cuz she hates the taste of the vites I load it with... but 2 days ago she started refusing the food tubing... she is now dabbling the food slurry herself... sitting up on her own, talks, and is holding her head up for the most part... still has some head control issues and bouts of it getting betond her ability to turn back around, but she is steadily improving... I think her hearing is most likely gone and sight may be as well, but she is starting to adapt and is still getting stronger...

:weee
Now that sounds like a nice way to spend an afternoon!  :thumbsup

Phone interview tomorrow 8 am.  Man, I need this so I'm reading up & practicing some answers to the questions that tend to make me nervous.

That's great!!  :woot

BTW: my wife was NOT grazing, just the chickens. I gotta be more careful. :hide

Wow...don't count out her senses quite yet, it may just be taking a little longer for recovery. She is one tough duck and she has a great flock mama to help her through it.
