Yes, the FI. Its my fault. When I came home to lock them down, I was only home for a few hours and I made the mistake of fiddling with the stupid knob.

But I have good and bad news, it seems the lavenders are fine, looks like all 3 internal pips and plenty of movement. All 4 comet eggs appear to be gone, but I left them anyway. Alot of clear area and they aren't drawn down, no movement detected. I'm pretty sure they are goners, but will check them again tomorrow.

And one more bit of sad news... I lost a week-old golden sebright this evening. I'm calling it failure to thrive. It was really small, and had bad pasty butt. I kept cleaning it, but it just never improved, and gave up the fight tonight.

What a rough day! Sounds like the little Sebright had some intestinal issues that kept it down. My wife fussed at me for fiddling with the thermostat on our FI. I have about four thermometers in there and I know the temp fluctuates. When I remove quitter eggs it changes the temp dynamics. I guess it's the loss of BTUs.
