How is ya?

Really, no problem if you want some. I hate giving them away with the eating ones that I take to work :/
I'd rather give the LOs to the local pantry, than to the gals at work. I'll look into that too.

Fertility wasn't been the greatest early this spring, but I think it was from a few new layers. Each set has been improving, so I will sample another bunch and see how they are now. I dont plan to set any more soon, so if anyone wants any, just let me know.
Did you check the arm on the turner? It should stop at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. Mine would occasionally stop at 12 and 6 positions. You have to let it run, and turn it off in the correct position to reset it, and get it back on track. Check it out and see if that's the problem.

I'll let you know on the LO eggs. I am really considering it.

I checked the turner. The arms stop at about 9:30 and 2:30, but like I mentioned, it always comes back to the same side. Other reviews I've read mention the same issue. We'll see how this hatch goes and develop a plan from there.

Can day old chicks be shipped to higher altitudes?
I would think so?

I've successful shipped day olds multiple times without complications. The problem is many breeders will not ship day old chicks.

Good morning. Last full day of travel.

One of the eggs in the hatcher had a hole in the pointy end that I missed when setting. It went into lockdown with a second large air cell. Can't wait to see how it does!

I hope you get the one you want

Well, you could say it needs an alignment. He eats fine and has no problems but it doesn't close like it should and even looks like the lower beak is shifting to his left.
My hubby drives over 100 miles to his job! The pay is the best and he does 12 to 16 hour shifts so fewer trips are made.
Thanks! Drat, sorry about his beak. Glad your hubby doesn't have to make as many trips. That's a long drive!

Adorable, tiny baby duck birb!

Travel safely home! Fingers crossed for the egg baby.

Good morning all.

Good morning everyone!

A couple more pics of the little lovelies before their new owner picks them up this evening. I'm very pleased with the looks of these 3, they look even better than the last 2, and I have 4 more in the bator on day 10. This buyer also wants 4 of my leftover bantams from the last hatch. So I will only be left with a pair of silver duckwing OEGB's. I'm happy with that!
