You would not believe the calls Cops get dispatched to. I've been on lizard calls, snake calls, bat calls, cat calls, you name it. "Hello, this is 911 what is your emergency? There's a possum on my back porch . What's he doing? He's just sitting there...." We had a bear in a tree call once. Turned out to be a cat." Hey, but stupid, crazy, people is why I got a job!

My son is a fireman/EMT, remember? Yea... its the crazies that keep the likes of you employed.

By the way, I'm off the rest of the afternoon to go with hubby to the doc. We figure they will release him to go back to work. I sure hope so. My house looks like a cyclone went through it.

Oz..... I've never taken a real vacation.... Most of my life I have had to used up my vacation days in the hospital.... Or at Dr appointments...the closest thing to a vacation I have is going to Traverse City to see the grandkids....

I used to put frontline stuff on my dog every month, he would get them bad just from the edges of our yard... haven't put it on him in over a year and haven't seen a single one on him either... not since the Calls have been free ranging the yard, lol...
