but my originals living quarters aren't as big as my Ams are...thank you though! Now...if you had some lemon blues...is that the color or something wild colored in OEGBs I'd tell my girls to scoot over! Sorry for the misquotes! Too lazy to fix all that..lol

You just like twisting my arm, dontcha? :gig
Hmmmmmmm...
Like I said to Miss Am... if you get to wanting to do OEGB's, we have over a dozen hens in our self blue flock....

What alls in your self blue flock?

See, you do hold out on us! :D

Hey you, hows it goin?

Interesting. That's cool. Sometime if u have time post a pic of a black split Am...have no idea what they look like.

They're black, lol... visually they are no different than black Ameraucanas, but instead of having 2 black parents, or a black and a blue parent, they have a black parent and a Lav parent... so each one of my blacks carries a single copy of Lav... it takes 2 copies of Lav to express, so breeding them back to Lav ensures 50/50 Lavs and splits... the only way to tell whether you have splits or not is to ensure a Lav parent or test mate to a Lav to see results...

You have a sebright and OEGB too? Geez, we have good taste :D

I have silver duckwing cockerel over one SDW female and a few mixed females. I also have 2 young SDW girls that I hatched, and it looks like a couple of these new babies may be SDW. As you can guess, SDW is my fav, so I'm selling 2 of my mixed girls tomorrow (for a kid's 4-h project) but I'm keeping the mixed momma here and one other. This momma is Harriet, named for Oz, because she is missing toes :D

4 of her 9 babies hatched. She was off the nest when I got home from work. The other 5 eggs were cool, so I candled them. 2 DIS, but 3 still going, one of those internally pipped, so I brought them into the hatcher. We'll see what happens now. :fl

I really think your Sebrights are beautiful.....I want some of those some day.

Hey Phil, how's the garden coming?

Yeah, me too.

Garden is coming along thanks Dan....I should have it all in over the next couple days. Everything in the ground has taken off.
It's real early to have the garden in for here so hopefully I won't pay for it with a frost.
