Hi Jordan,

Sorry for not responding to this sooner - NO, he is definitely not being mean. He's just being a typical roo. I just marvel at his ability to make it back to the house/our fenced yard, especially since he hasn't really even been here that long. The "roo coop" is in our fenced pasture, which is about a 2 acre fenced spread, and it's about 200' or more from our house. He was managing to mysteriously make it out of the coop, through the fenced pasture, and then he would travel all the way back to the house & somehow make it over the fence into the yard. Then he did what roosters do, which wasn't making my sweet Cochin happy, but which definitely doesn't put him in the mean category. I figured out where he was escaping yesterday, though, and he stayed put all day. My rooster coop definitely seems like the way to go for now. They also all seem to be getting along, which is gratifying.

So just wanted to reinforce that we love your splash guy & are veyr happy he's here. Thanks for passing him along!

Laura

Hello Everyone,

Well I did get to go to the Fresno show. It was very nice. I didn't get to meet any of the BYCers

. After seeing Jordans photos I now know that I did see Lori, Lynn and Jordan in the selling area

. The selling area was a little crowded. Lori and Jordan you two were leaning back on the cages as my husband and I excused ourselves as we walked by(it was around 1:30 or 2:00ish). I was wearing a long sleeve button up jean shirt and jeans and cowboy boots. I don't know if that will help you or not.

Hopefully next time we can all meet each other. Oh! By the way Jordan the photos are awesome! Thanks

Take care, Mary Ann

Laura, I know I replied to this thing! IDK where my post went.

Mary Ann, too bad you didnt see our nametags! It was so long ago, I dont remember what ANYONE was wearing, lol. It was so crowded, I had tons of people ask to get around me. Next time we'll have to make nametags that are the size of a dinner plate! Thanks!

Thanks, Dixie. I really appreciate your comments.
