These pics really helped! I met Josie, Sarah, Jayna and Brenda because of them! And I must say, they were all really nice people. I took some pics, but Im sooooo tired. I'll download them though, I know you guys will want to see.

I had a wonderful time! I met Bill, Dennis, Sarah, Jayna, and Brenda from BYC and also met several CA Chickens people. I wish I had been able to spend more time visiting, though. Sorry to have missed Josie and Anna. Next time, hopefully!

I got 2 beautiful Welsummers from a CA Chickens member. One of my new girls layed an egg in her crowded little cardboard box! It was a gorgeous, speckled, terra cotta-colored egg. I pretty much bought them sight unseen, and when I took them out here at home, I was stunned at how beautiful they are!

I even saw a NN that I thought was pretty! Jayna scored on a beautiful NN pullet from Jordan!

I hope everyone had fun! I sure did!

I was VERY suprised you and Lori thought that NN was pretty, you both seemed pretty Anti-NN. I must be working some voodoo magic on ya!

I had a blast too. It was so nice to meet Jordan, Jayna, and Brenda. I always pictured Jordan as a bearded chicken, and Jayna as a bright Buttercup,

so it was fun to meet them, they are all so nice.

I went away with some Cuckoo Marans chicks that I had been asking about on another thread. Whoopee!

it was awesome to meet everyone today! (Lynn, Jordan, Josie, Sara etc.)
i was so astounded by all of the chickengoodness that i didn't even take pictures.

i did get a lovely NN from jordan - she is so sweet!
i also picked up a blue showgirl pullet and a silkie chick.
(and brenda bought a raffle ticket for one dollar and won a doxie pup! like we need another dog . . . but she is very sweet!)

it was a fabulous day!

Josie, it was great to meet you too! I ALMOST didnt introduce myself because I wasnt sure if it was you, but I had to try anyways. Im really glad I did, you are really nice. I guess I should have been looking for a baby walking around since you were lookin for a bearded chicken!

BTW: Those chicks are from Angi right? I got that pullet from her and got an egg from her this morning. It is BEAUTIFUL. Nice and dark compared to the rest of the eggs I get!


It was great meeting you too, Jayna! I was wondering when you would be there, and then you guys drove right past us! Lynn was sitting down eating and she started yelling, "There she is there she is!!" Haha, it was funny. So I chased you down, but it was great meeting you and Brenda. Im so glad you like the NN, she was definitely the nice one. I took her two sisters out and one bit Lynn! I thought you were getting a showgirl, they were so cute. If my mom would have let me get anything, that would have been what I picked.

Again, it was great to meet you all! I'll post my pics when I get back from feeding, I might have new pics of baby chicks too.

Hey Guys! Brenda's puppy was soooooo cute! I came home with: 2 oegb wheaton pullets(for my 4H kids), 4 dark cornish chicks(from Angi), and 5 cuckoo maran chicks(from Angi again). Clerking was fun, as was meeting everybody! It was a busy day. I'm glad we got to coop out as early as we did, the rain delayed the ride home by about an hour.
