well because it was winter- I had strayed from my normal hatching routine, I normally dry hatch and have good results- but since it was winter, and I use the woodstove and live in a desert I decided to have a cap full water a day, and I would put a wash cloth on the bator to warm it more. between the water and the bator not breathing as much is what I think killed the eggs the came out too wet. I did hatch out fridge eggs before and the 3 that did hatch were from a fridge- I have another batch coming on the 13th/14th they are all fresh eggs straight from the hen- plus I am back to dry and am going to wait til external pip to add water. candled they are all doing well. day 8 currently. These eggs I am waiting on I really want because they will be "blue" marans, ameracaunas, cochin.
