I've heard stories about pigs eating humans, especially if they are fed dead livestock. So there is still hope my in-laws guinea pig will someday take care of my MIL.

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember having read that there has not been even one reported case of salmonella from a non-commercial egg. I think most of the risk of contamination comes from idiots cleaning cages then handling eggs.

I've thought about getting an alligator but I have no pond. A pig would blend on a farm much better. Great idea! Thanks...
