Friends chicken has bumblefoot??

Hello! My friend contacted me saying she thinks her chicken has bumblefoot. Here’s what I asked and here’s what she said. Pictures of the foot are coming soon. Thanks!!

Agree, pictures a must. Sounds like frostbite too perhaps.

Ouch that ain’t good.
The toe looks swollen and the entire foot too. I bet it’s a severe case of Bumblefoot, someone get help.

Thanks for the photos.
There's definitely frost bite, both on the feet and the comb.
I presume the poor guy had a deformed foot from birth... but I don't know.
That foot looks infected, but with the frostbite I would be very reluctant to soak, yet I think it's going to be necessary to save this guy. You're going to need more experienced folk to help you out here I'm afraid.
Also those claws need to be clipped.

agree w/ Cragg I think you have some bumble going on but frost bite is pretty bad.
