Sooooooooo any decisions made yet ?

Since John didn't get to keep the boy he wanted, he got to pick the girl and has gone with the Brindle, Knotty Dottie Queen of the Seven Seas. He got to name her, too.

Look at that cute face!!! So, we are calling her Dottie?

Also, don't let J know Vern needs a home. He will jump on that in a heartbeat!!!

Conformation and structurally Blue is the pick girl, but she may be somewhat fine boned. Nice shoulder lay back and nice agulation in the rear. Extremely sound. She is very cute with a nice personality and plenty of drive. She is pretty tough because she is smallest and a bit of a Tasmanian Devil. She has a lovely long and graceful neck and a nice head. 7 lbs

Dottie is bigger boned and very personable and not as nice structurally as Blue, but is nice enough. She will have a big, deep chest. She is the first to come over to say hi. Blue is a bit more independent. She'll be able to finish and work. She is straighter in her shoulders and rear than Blue, and shorter backed. She has a nice neck and a larger nice head than Blue, which is a plus. You can see the eye rim filling in with pigment and I hope it continues to do so. 7.3 lbs

Vern is shaped more like Dottie with a little more leg. Temperament-wise he is pick of the litter. He can finish and is extremely sweet and easy going and willing. Boldest about exploring by trotting along with me. He went out with John to look at the chickens through the gate and started to crawl under the gate. Three hens came over to look at him (like perhaps he was a squirrel). Vern looked back for about 10 secs and withdrew from under the gate, but stood with John and didn't run away. Nice problem solving ability + disgression without fear. I can't tell you how adorable he is. If we could keep a boy dog, I would keep him. 9 lbs.

Fat Boy (aka Phlox as per the trainer taking him but I just can't use that name) is pick boy conformation-wise and should finish easily. I don't like his temperament. The trainer taking him will be able to do a fine job with him, so I'm not worried about it. He will be a large, good looking dog, though. He is biggest and weighs 9.4 lbs at 6 weeks. I'm so glad we aren't keeping him. I really don't want to deal with another 70 lb dog.

Probably more than you ever wanted to know, sorry.

We took pics on Wed but for some reason I can't get uploads to accept them. I guess they are the wrong file type. I'll keep trying.

Well I've been confused this entire time...I thought fawn was the big fatty of the bunch. He's so flippin cute! He would be my pick of the litter!

Came home to the most wonderful sight yesterday. All the hens were out in the yard scratching. They all ran to me and were clucking and coo-ing. They were so happy to get out. This morning, the paint can I had holding the door shut was frozen to the ground!

Oh well, maybe in a few more weeks we will have more warm weather. This past week was in the 40's every day. Even though it didn't last, it gave me hope.

We can bring him up for you at Lovinstock. House trained and partly trained - as much as a 6 mo old pup can be.

Only stipulations are a fenced yard, very loving home and he absolutely must be returned to me if for any reason, at any time in his life, you decide you can't keep him.
