Ah yes much to look forward to. I told Ken last night "I am not sure what you were thinking, getting horses when we are both so broken we cant walk straight after sitting for awhile".

But once you are on the horse's back, the rocking motion, so therapeutic for the low back. Oh, but start out with short rides at a time, the legs, oh my gosh the legs, they get so sore, you can't walk. Oh and the knees, mine get so stiff I can't even get off the horse! lol
I have to hang onto the horn tight and slowly slide to the ground! And hope I can stand when i reach it! But with the pony, oh the ground is right there, ha ha!!

Good night Tanicha

We plan on riding on out property first. Get used to it - both of us!!!

Oh yes, that is plenty of room! I have only 3/4 acre, and I have a little track I ride around on, and I can go up and down the hill in my yard, good warm up exercise before I go out on the road. I don't ride on the main road anymore, way too much traffic for my comfort. But right across the street, I can ride down that lane, and I can also eventually get to the trails that way too. there are a few trails off the lane I ride on too. But mostly, I just go down that lane about a mile or so, say hi to neighbors and then head home again. Some times my sister takes me to the beach, but she works a lot and we have different days off most of the time. DH was trying to fix his vehicle so it wouldn't overheat while pulling trailer so he could take me to the beach, but then he dropped the screw and can't find it and used a different one and now he says its stripped so he's afraid its going to leak and still overheat. One day, we will get him a newer vehicle, after I get my car paid for.

I didnt come up with this. A friend at a gardening forum posted it there

-------> Conversation overheard on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz while flying from Europe to Dubai . It's too good not to pass along..

The conversation went like this...

Iranian Air Defense Radar: 'Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.'

Aircraft: 'This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.'

Air Defense Radar: 'You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!'

Aircraft: 'This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send 'em up, I'll wait!'

Air Defense Radar: (no response .... total silence) <----------------------

I liked it and figured I would pass it along.

Y'all remember last week when I was complaining about the germs at the pharmacy?
Well now I'm sick!

Fever, chills, cough, nausea, blood sugar spiking... the works.
They gave me some motrin, tylenol, robotussin with codine

and an anti-nausea medication that makes me sleepy as heck.
I think I'll be in bed the rest of the day.

Hola Chica!

You need to hunt for my thread from Saturday afternoon. I had an amazing weekend.

Duly noted. I'm going into the library to find....... A book! I'll be back when I get there, and I'll look for it then.

Well, Diesel and I are now officially up for adoption. We'll eat scraps, sleep in the barn, and don't make much of a mess... And we're free

ETA: We will have to bring along one geriatric cat- but she's not very big and she's too old to cause trouble

OK, just got the course info for the first of my two Triathlons I'm planning for this year.

http://www.goldnuggettriathlon.com/Course.htm

It's a mostly level course this year which will be good. Longer bike ride than last year but that's ok. Training starts today!

I would like to shave 17 minutes off my time from last year
