What a great day. Today is Ken's birthday and we had a whole bunch of people over, including a kid that rides bulls and he spent HOURS with Duke and Duchess, getting them used to riding, etc. I rode Duchess for a while today too. She is jumpy and does NOT want to obey commands but I stayed in the saddle!!!

How was it having that strong powerful animal between your legs? Do you have strong thighs?
No I most certainly do not, and I am gonna be in some major pain tomorrow. They are coming back and we are doing it again. They have to be ridden 3-5 times a week right now until they finally realize who is boss.
Duchess is a follower, so when Duke was out she was pulling all over the place and each time I was able to keep her ground. I am SO proud of myself!
I wonder if I went and got broody Cotton, if she would accept them or peck them. Maybe Sheila wants to be their mama. It is dark now. Should I try it? But I was thinking of bringing the hen in the house, not the babies to the chicken pen.
Yea, I stuck their beak in the water a couple times, not sure they know how to eat, can't decide which stuffed animal I am willing to let poop get on, ha ha.
Guess I'll go shove beaks in water again, and in food! And I am using a different lamp than usual because I do not know where the other one is.
I almost was thinking of going to store and getting feather duster, but I didn't go.
Oh yahoo, I found some batting stuff to make pillows out of and put it in there by the light and they are happy campers now, quieted down quite a bit!!
