Girl, you're barking up the wrong tree when it comes to sewing, but ask aunt Saddi. I'd venture to say it'd be do-able.

Not with the belt on. how heavy does the fabric need to be? (here in summer gauzes and satins are the heavest thing we can stand)

I can sew very well too, when I first tried that dress on I though it would make an awesome nightgown, without the belt. and maybe sleeveless. I need lightweight fabrics too
