This is what happens when you get wind ofter all the snow has melted and no rain has come. This is glacial silt, much finer than dust or sand, and it gets into everything!!!!

Hopefully the dark clouds I see now are bringing us some rain. You can actually taste the air.

Semi here, the boy had occ. therapy this am, then rushed to the star testing, they ordered the wrong test for him, so his scores are moot, BUT they must have over a 95% testing rate, so he's taking a test he can not pass so they have a butt in the seat for a head count.

Not quite, it was no one present's fault, but his scores for this year are invalid, as they gave him the standard booklets (because of the hearing loss he should get the ones with no word problems, shorter directions and such) Since they didn't send the reading adjusted books, and no one can read him the longer questions, his score'll be lower. The school gets funded 100% off the averages of these scores, so he's dragging down thier scores as well. But since all students must test.....

he's getting a test he'll do poor on because of a paperwork goof 6 months ago that no one noticed untill I told them yesterday.
