I don't like the texture of tomatoes, but I like the taste. So you talk of these purple tomatoes, and make us

, but don't give us pictures? That's just cruel. I choose to believe that these supposed 'purple tomatoes' are not purple at all, until I have proof!

Dang it, I will get around to it I suppose. I have on purpose let my camera battery die because I need to go outside and document my ruined car but am to depressed about it to do so. I have many more purple maters on the way so you will just have to be a non believe for a few days till I get up enough gumption to go out there with my camera.

I don't blame you, the car would be a sore spot with me for a very long time.

Yes, I started them from seeds inside my house. They are purpleish. They are for sure not red. They start out green like all tomatoes (I think all tomatoes). I am also growing golden cherry tomatoes this year. Oh my gosh they are good too and really prolific.

A coworker gave me two plants, the poor things are still living in my bedroom. I need to get them outside but the wind is so constant they just get beat up. I'm going to have to make a wind break of some kind for them. I have a couple theories but haven't been home long enough to really get much accomplished. I think one of them is a golden cherry. I'll have to go read the tags on them.

You probably already know this but make sure to give the plants plenty of support. Not moral support silly, well that too (your very good at moral support and I thank you for that), but actual support for the branches. They love it.

A salad, consisting of favorite goodies.

I do support them, but even in the cages all the branches get beat and ripped off. So I need to put something behind the cage to keep the wind from damaging them.

As for the moral support

anytime!

Not me, those are Yankee Texans. Anybody born north of I-10 is a Yankee to me. I do hope everybody up there is ok though. Nice avatar by the way.

Thanks P-Nut.

I think Belle's finally given up on trying to get me to stick to one.

Tex liked it too, I guess I might fit in in Texas after all.
