Cute skirt!!!

DD wants to be the Mad Hatter from the Burtion movie for Halloween. Can't wait to 'modify' the 2nd hand stuff we found!

Pictures!!! We MUST have pictures

Can't yet. Still waiting on the leather tophat, black peacoat, and some other goofy cheap touches to be shipped from their various e-Bay sellers.
Waiting is driving me CRAZY! I have soooo many ideas....

My truck, being the beast of a machine it is, was fine. But there were a lot of small cars down creeks and in some pretty serious crashes. My home is on a hill, so no flooding there...

And I must have pictures of these glorious outfits! Cute skirt, Michelle. Well done! I remember my mom making me one of those...

Princess, post the problem and I'll help you if I can.

Boyd, that is one creepy avatar.

Sassy, if she'd pulled out in front of me, I'd have let my horse stomp her car. It'd be the last time she did that...
But don't listen to me. I'm crazy.

We've had torrential downpours all week, and the creek rose over the road. I drove through a foot and a half of water because there was no place to turn around. My friend who drives a jetta was completely submerged by some waves when she went across. Somehow she didn't crash...

ok im with maggie- your avi is SCARY!!!!

I like to sew, not super good at it, and I need to have ideas.
Send me some wegot!

I mostly sew from patterns, or try to mend stuff, and some patterns I get by cutting around existing clothes, but mostly simple stuff.
But I still like it!!

And soon I will be giving up my sewing room, again, already.

I will think of somewhere to set up my machine, not sure where yet, but I hope not the closet again, that was a little cramped and my machine got buried in there. Maybe the kitchen this time? But, I don't want thread in my food or food on my thread.

And I just got that nice machine from MIL. waa waa waa
We do what we gotta do though.
And its a good thing, to be giving up my sewing, dressing room.

Awww... You have to give up your sewing room? I'm sure it's worth it, though, else you wouldn't. I bought a fancy table (about 20 years old, too.

) that goes next to my bed and the sewing machine rises up out of it by pulling a lever. The top of the table flips off to provide more room. Takes a lot of cleaning to use my machine, but certainly saves space.
