Went to see my horses this morning around 8.


Ranger couldn't walk.

Thought he foundered because he kept flinching when I tested the front of his frog, but the vet said it was an abscess. Thank goodness. There goes $200 though because it was a Sunday. Now I'm going to have a funky bill because my horses have to be stabled for a week. Sigh. Horses are expensive critturs.

And I really need a ranch.

On the bright side, I just got a new coffee maker. Mr.Coffee gave up the ghost, may he rest in pieces. One of those keurig one cup brewers. I've been trying out all the coffees and hot chocolates and they are yummy! So worth it, and Kohls had them on sale, too! I thought I was going to wait until Christmas (At Christmas, I always buy myself a gift I've been wanting. Good sales.), but I lucked out.

So not all bad. I'm going to go eat lunch. Hope everyone's weekend turns out lovely!

Yeah, he's not happy about being in stall arrest. We put Kota man in the run next to him so they can talk through the fence.

New saddle?!!!? Where? WHEN?! HOW? Give me the specs! Pictures Pictures Pictures! Tell me all about it! I love that new saddle feeling... Aren't you lucky!

Getting to go ride in this... I'm driving back to Texoma either monday or tuesday, so I should get to ride Dakota then.

Sassy, are your horses really soft, but not quite really fuzzy just yet? I love this time of year!

Well, boyd is 32 or 33 today, I can never remember. Wife pampered me, breakfast with pancakes (blueberry and choc chip) then a good back rub, my favorite blanket and football on TV with her and the baby snuggled up. The big dog even joined the party and it wasn't long before me, the baby and the dog were out cold. Then had the best spaghetti in the world, more football and wife got me some whiskey to go with my coke. Life is good

Breago is getting his fuzzy coat, but Philomena is still sleek. And here is a pic of the saddle I bought, it's like $900-1000, BUT!! I found one on e-bay for $300!!

Ewww, yuk, this morning I had stepped in scat. It got in my car and I noticed it when I was driving home on my break. I had to take out my floor mat and do a quick vacuum, then go back to work. So this evening, I sprayed carpet cleaner, and vacuumed and dusted the inside, it smells clean and fresh in there now!
And with my new spark plugs it got yesterday, well its a jamming car now!

Mrs Fluffy Puffy, how many buttons do you have now?
