    Hello!

Does anyone else on here have some Friesian Fowl? I've been doing searches, but if it's not horses, it's cows...

I was hoping to see photos of other peoples' birds and find out what you think of them.

Do a search at the upper right section of this page. BYC threads will show up. The breed may or may not exist in the USA . They are pretty birds from what you can see on Feathersite.

All I get is people talking about their horses. I guess I'll just have to write myself off as being the only one on here to have some of the bird variety! [IMG]

Yes, but I'm in the UK (silly of me not to add that to my profile).

I did a ton of research before picking which breeds I'd like to keep (I'm a new chicken-keeper - they're still only chicks!) and Friesians came top of the list.
    They
    a) are small large fowl
    b) eat very little
    c) produce big eggs for their size
    d) are egg-producing machines
    e) are listed as a rare breed
    f) seem to be quite popular

    f) in the UK anyway. I can't believe I've found something the UK has that the US doesn't. [IMG]
