If Curly Bird doesnt have any thing for sale at this time let me know. We have a few mature birds and a couple pairs of young birds for sale. The mature birds are reds and yellows. The 2013 birds are yellows.
What color are you looking for and what part of the country do you live in, I'm in GA and Franciscreek is in N. CA. The closer you are to the sender the cheaper the shipping will be.

Franciscreek, I have a pair of yellow grizzles who have not produced any viable eggs this year.
2 full sister ash yellows
1 recessive yellow
1 yellow whiteside, This is all I have in yellows although I will be working on recessive reds and yellows this next year, I have quite a few now carrying dilute. This next year I'll also be working on almonds, I have young stock just waiting for them to get some age on them.

My birds aren't handled much after there babies so as far as picking them up and holding them, I would put them at a 5 in a scale of 1-10
If I stand quiet and extend an arm in the loft it is not unusual for several birds to land on my arm, shoulder and head, they may peck around my feet so they are not fearful and many will eat out of my hand, I just don't pick them up a lot.
As far as price goes, if I have a color I don't care for, a young bird who has not been sexed or gone though molt to see what you have in curls the price maybe as low as 10-15$ Everything is based first on curl, next on color (for me) and correctness of the bird, usually my high price is no more than $50.00 per bird. Those who have top birds will have far higher prices especially if they are imported or 1st or 2nd generation off imports.
