lol! Good luck with that!Sooo...I have a mixed flock with a frizzle cochin roo, EE roo, and tiny little off breed bantam roo, over Black Copper Marans, EEs, Black Sex links, a frizzle Cochin hen, and a bantam hen.
Over the past couple of days, I have seen my little frizzle roo mate with a Black Copper Marans, AND a Black Sex Link! I didn't even think he could get up there! It was a successful mate. What has been seen, cannot be unseen. lol I think I'm going to incubate some of my eggs in a couple weeks. Lol I've never seen a frizzled BCM!
He does have feathers on his feet. At 5 weeks old he only has white on his tips on his under coat feathers and chest. Is he a black sex- link? I know it is a rooster for sure now. I would love to know what the cute little fella is.![]()
Frizzle is not a breed...it is a feather gene that makes them that way. A frizzle can be Polish, EE, Cochin, etc. I have some frizzled EEs and frizzled Naked necks and had some frizzle Polish, but the Polish were roos so had to rehome them.I just found out about this breed today! Where can I get some?!?!
