What age is your chicken and what mix is it?

It is 4 or 5 monthd old.and I'm not sure what mix it is. It was suppose to be an ameraucana but its not. Out of 7, I only got 1 true ameraucana. Your guess is as good as mine on mix.

If it is that old, I would say it was a girl! Yea, true Ameraucanas are hard to some by. I was lucky enough to just hatch 2 wheaten Ameraucanas! Now to wait for months and months to get those nice blue eggs!

Here are 2 of my frizzles. The top is a Mille fleur D'uccle x Frizzled Silke. No idea what the bottom big girl is. lol. Their names are Fancy and Reba!

The bottom girl looks just like my bantam frizzle except mine has feathers on her feet, not sure what kind mine is either.

I have been waiting for over 4 years for a frizzle faverolle. I finally got a little guy who is an EE/Ameraucana mix with Faverolle (fifth toe on both feet!) and curling up wing feathers. Im so pleased and cant wait to see how beautiful he turns out.

I have a frizzle bantam cochin. If I breed her with a silkie will the frizzle gene show up in her eggs?

Just don't breed two frizzles together. One frizzle to one non frizzle.

why cant breed two frizzles? i dont realy understand the frizzle thing i just love it and will die for a flock full of them
