Frizzles

Hi! We recently got a couple of frizzle chicks. They are about 2 months old. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me how well they tolerate cold weather with those curled up feathers?

we have 1 sleep on trees.. rain, sun, hail... sometimes she walk around in the morning with frost on her back....

Our bantam frizzle cochin handles CT winters pretty well. We give her hay and shavings to nestle into; I think sometimes she's warmer than the other normal chickens.

My banty frizzle does great in the winter, infact she hatched in December.

I have had frizzles for about 6 year's.They are cold hardy but I always kept mine in coops at night closed in away from the elements so...Mine would get out in snow etc. day and cold wind.I don't think I would want one of mine out all night in the cold.

I’m thinking about getting frizzles. The weather where I live gets to about 5 degrees at the coldest time of winter. Do you think they could handle that
