From egg to chick!

I let her pick bc idk what color they turn into. I do need another silkie or 2. And hubs still wants a Serama set.

It's so addictive, by the way, in case no one told you upfront. we never say anything until it's to late because we need supporters, not negative nelly's saying we have too many chickens. If you also have too many, you can't tell me I have too many and vice versa.

I thought I wasn't getting chicks this year.

Now I am planning on incubating twelve eggs.

WRONG!

I ended up needing something from TSC later that evening. Brought home 4 more (that I had to sneak into the brooder which he never checks (thank god!)

Then today he wanted Serama eggs! So we ordered 6! What have I done!!

Crap. I will get some tomorrow. Its been one thing after another with the ducks. Lol. I was hoping they'd allow the babies in the same area. And they did for the 1st 10 minutes. Then ONE duck decided to nip at the babies so what did the other do? The same shiz. So separate areas they went. Then the storage bucket I had got broken bc my kids decided to jump on it and ducks splash everywhere. So right now they are in my kids' tub until tomorrow
