You at least need to add a few every other year to keep the egg numbers up. As the older ones slow down, you need younger ones getting started... if you accidently forget which year you are on and buy some every year, oops...

Right? I can even use the excuse of buying new pullets bc they take about 5 months to start laying!

Byw Kithara has decently reintegration into the flock. No more bullying but they make sure he knows he isn't at the top of the food chain.

He isn't! I think he had a tummy ache and was lonely. He is good.

And I HAD 22. Neighbor "lost" the other pullet I gave him. And two got culled due to crossbeaks.

I want to get me one or two Buff orpingtons. And maybe 2 silkies. I don't want much lmao.
