I'm okay with that. Does that include that white powdery cold stuff? It's pretty much a myth here. I've heard of it though lmao.We can just send some extra cold weather your way, that will help kill any in the yard![]()

Alright. I checked Snape and didn't see any but will probably treat him too. The ones on Hook had to be either baby or juvenile. They weren't fully grown yet. Hoping I catch it early. Might spray my yard too, but with the feral kitties idk what to do.https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/y-tex-gardstar-garden-poultry-dust
Read up on it, typically with these powders you need to dust twice, once now, and once I think its 10 to 14 days to kill the next generation after they hatch, and before they can lay more eggs.
That or complaining. You know how much squawking I have heard today already? Yeesh. Lol.I'm not normal either, but that certainly sounds like an average chicken argument is they could talk. Really, if chickens could talk, they would probably be arguing most of the time.
Might as well use it before it expires. I would say gift it to a shelter but who knows if they would just resell it, plus you bought it. Too bad they don't have flea treatments for chickens. Like for lice mites etc. A single drop or two on the neck area and bam.I agree, I've never had lice in my flock, but I had mites once and went with Elector PSP because I just wanted them dead, ASAP
I have used DE though, we got two kittens who were crawling with fleas, like broad daylight walking across their faces, disgusting! They were too small for flea treatments so as a "what can it hurt" desperation act I put a pinch of DE with neem oil down the center of their backs. I had gone to the vet and gotten flea treatment for all our 4 legged critters and was waiting for the kittens to get big enough, expecting a flea explosion across everyone. Our older dog and cat are always outside but have never had fleas. I was super pleased that every single flea fled, or died, and I've never had to use the flea treatment from the vet on any of our animals, I still have it, it's probably about to expireso that's my one DE/neem success story, but I can't speak for mites or lice.
My Blue Easter Egger Bantam, April, spent about two hours running around the yard, searching for a nesting location because she is the most indecisive pullet I have ever had. She does some kind of scratchy, loud call while searching for a nest that sounds like, "AWR-AWR-AWR-AWR-AWRUH!" April does that call instead of egg song for some reason. That or complaining. You know how much squawking I have heard today already? Yeesh. Lol.
I don't think catching a whiff will hurt. Can't use it on them at all. Just don't dump a bunch where the cats walk around so they don't have to lick it off their paws.Well they will have to stay away from the yard. They have plenty of space though. Hopefully they won't come near it if they get a whiff? I will have to figure out how to keep them away for a bit.
I tell you what, I'll just tuck the flea stuff in the box with Grinch for you!Might as well use it before it expires. We have fleas too but normal amount. Feral have em. I'd deflea them, but they'd bite and claw me to death. I prefer my skin ON my body.
Still Hook only. Going to TSC tomorrow for supplies. Scratch included bc I am out of the goodies. Might also buy them some black soldier larvae but it gets expensive.A bit late to be asking this, but, @ElfenLied89, how is the infestation going?
