I agree with you on not putting a regular bantam male with Serama hens. Those larger boys of mine have their own space. I have a few micro and A -class hens that always get extra care and protection… and currently are (fortunately for them) not with the flock. They’re on eggs, so they’re safe! One other thing I forgot to mention is that my tiniest are in a separate space much of the time due to being pursued by the males. It’s such a juggling act! Some do totally fine with the bantam males. Others get a bit frightened, so the mother in me always has a backup plan when they need a rescue. And yes fluffy, it’s SO worth it being a Serama parent! Your girls are really beautiful!!!! I love seeing them.![]()
