I have duck eggs that pipped yesterday morning but that's all the progress they've made as of right now.

From pip to hatch, how long will they last? I'm concerned that the eggs are too small (these are really tiny duck eggs) and they won't be able to make it on their own.

So...

Not that I'm ready (AT ALL) to intervene, but if I have to... If they don't make any more progress...

About how long from pip to zip and zip to hatch with ducks?

I'm no expert, but I see noone has responded. I'v done this with chicks alott. If its been awhile, a few hours. you can chip the shell away a little and if the membrane is really dry and white they may need help. If you break it open and it looks as if the duckling is in a cocoon? You can chip the shell around like they do when they Zip. Make sure they don't bleed. Slowly. Watch them close, they may be exhuasted by now. If there is no blood you can slowly remove the membrane to free their shoulder. Once they are freed up and can move there head and shoulders they should be fine. I am doing that with chicks right now under a heat lamp. The hen lift live eggs on day 21!! Good luck. Let me know!!

It can take 24 hours or longer from a pip on an egg to zipping out of the shell! Patience! Never peel away shell from an egg any sooner.
