Front of comb is flopped to the side a bit

This is my first time with roosters. My RIR rooster is around 4 months old. His comb was sitting straight the other day but the front part is a bit flopped. We are in summer and he’s been eating and drinking and crowing as usual: could it be the heat? Or just him still growing?

Birds with excessively large combs tend to develop a 'flop over'.

I don't think it's anything to worry about. Even some of my girls have had floppy combs but no issues.

Ok good to know! My chickens are like my babies and I wanted to make sure he was ok esp since I will be introducing new older hens to our flock They’re not in the coop yet but next to the run
