Frost bite

Frost bite really has a lot more to do with the humidity and airflow in the coop versus actual temp.
So if the coop is dry they should be ok? I do have some of the area tarred off so they have a dry area to come out to due to having a big snow storm come threw 2 days ago.

It really depends on your ventilation, and area you live, but a coop with good ventilation and you really don't need to worry about frost bite.
