My phoenix rooster has frostbite on the tips of his comb. I'm thinking it began yesterday after he got wet from a downpour while free ranging in yard. The weather has been around 50 F during day, 25-45 F at night. I haven't treated it yet, just went to tractor supply and got poultry skin spray and bag balm. I didn't want to treat it at night and let him sit with a wet comb. I'm worried about tomorrow as we have a freeze warning. Any suggestions?
