well, this morning she is happily talking to me. BUT, her feet are swollen. Dh said to give her some time and we will know more. She doesn't seem to be in pain and I will find the poultry vitamins. She is eating and drinking fine, very cuddly. I will give her a little more time and hopefully the swelling goes down with minimal damage caused...

Glad your feathered friend's doing better!

I don't know how often you had to bring a chicken in during the winter, so just wanted to remind you to weather it like you do seedlings. My first year, I made the mistake of taking a few completely mended ducks and chickens back out, and they died just because of the temp change! It was devastating after the entire family worked so hard to thaw them out and keep them healthy!
