Well this just sucks!! I say we flog all the meanies on BYC with rubber chickens!!!! Sorry to see you go CoyoteMagic. From the posts of yours I have seen I didn't see a problem but I know sometimes I post sometimes and it is nothing offensive but with 90,000 members on here there is bound to be one naysayer in the group and by golly they will find you!!!

Looks like fun! I'll cruise through later to see your finished blocks!

O.K. I am in! I have no excuses now - my son is going to summer camp for a week which should give me plenty of time to get started on it. I have not tried the block but I am sure Ginbart will help me if I need it - right?

O.K. with 17Roses joining us that gives us 11 people. So here is the deal. Lets all do 12 blocks at the completed size of 12.5 inches. Use only 2 fabrics for each block. All of your 12 blocks can be the same or they can all be different.

So remember..... 12 Blocks..........12.5 inches..........blocks can vary or can be the same. Let's all get started.

Bummer......I will have to wait till tomorrow......gotta get a molar pulled at 11:00 this morning. Then again

I may be able to try my hand at a few today. lol

Also, remember to be kind to one another..and pray for one another.........we are all fighting our own battles of some sort.

I have went and updated the first post so that it contains the info on the block and also how many. So if you need anything please refer back to the first post. Thanks and I pray that you all have a wonderful and blessed day today.

Just so everyone knows ahead of time.....this block when finished should be 12.5 inches.......................the Frugal Block was a 10 inch block.

So remember 12.5 inches when finished.

Sounds good to me! I am so happy that y'all got me sewing again.

I will be gone until Wed. so you probably won't hear from me. But don't worry, I'm still here. We have to go back to NC and pick up our stuff from storage. When we moved to TN last year we couldn't get everything on the moving truck

It is a long trip and will be made longer b/c we are going to make stops all over NC to visit friends and relatives. It makes me sad that it may be the last time I visit my home state

I'm leaving one of my high school students in charge of my dogs, garden, and chickens. He is city folk, but I am trying to make him into a country boy lol! I took him to the feed store the other day. I hope everything is alive when I come back

Per individual block. Just like the one you posted a pic of. You have the horse material and the sash is the horseshoe material. Two different materials per block but not all of your blocks have to be the same. You could do your other blocks out of different materials if you want.

Somehow I missed this and never gave it a thought to check on the 1st page. I had a couple of questions and I didn't find the answer. I couldn't make it back to check yesterday anyway.

So, I'll be watching for pictures and looking for the next swap. Hopefully, I'll better understand how the block and fabric will come together.

Have fun and happy sewing.

Acre of Blessings, I'll say a prayer all goes well with your molar. That's no fun.

You take care of yourself.
