Hello neighbor, if I can remember correctly back some 20-30 years ago my 1 year old took a nap. Now that was a long long time ago and I'm not sure if I'm remembering that right.

You'd be surprised at what you can get done in say, an hour.

I'm not pushing you or anything.

I was gonna say heavy duty velcro! One piece on the wall and one piece on the back of the kid!!!

(Note: I have yet to try this so no guarantees!)

yep, she naps for about an hour...... but the sewing machine is a bit noisy! I'll just have to send her down to gramma for awhile. I really want to get back into the creative stuff. Velcro might work, but I was thinking of putting her out to play with the chickens in the coup.....

It's funny how things change. When mine were little I remember my dear MIL coming up and when the baby went to sleep she would say. Ok we will be quite. I would say no no no make noise, I want him to be able to sleep when there's noise and to this day we could have bad storms and he will sleep all night and never know we had one. lol

O.k. you've been added to the list. I hope the list grows faster, sooner.....but if we don't have enough people.....then, well, we will see what happens.

Ok here are pics as promised!!!

This is one I did for my one daughter. I made the pattern but there really is no rhyme or reason to it. She loves it and that's all that matters!!

This one is a crazy quilt I made for my other daughter!

Here are two others that I am working on for them. These ones have a definite pattern as you can tell. This is the first time I have tried one like this and so far I have done really good with lining up the squares/rectangles!!

Hmm - I've only done this once, by hand, using the paper block patterns (and never put it together into a quilt!

)

I think I want to try...have to see if my mother will lend me her machine or I won't be done in time!!

Will someone teach us how to make the blocks into an actual quilt??
